Safety, Security, and Hygiene
The safety, security, and well-being of our students, our staff, and our faculty are of utmost importance to us and we at Mars1 have taken several measures towards that end.
- Our trusted security team is made familiar with each of our astronauts so that they can monitor who has entered and who has left the school premises.
- Every learner is issued a pick-up card which needs to be produced by the person picking up that learner from Mars1. A person will be allowed to pick up their ward only if they can produce the pick-up card.
- All visitors are obligated to sign in at all the school gates.
- All children are accompanied by teachers or staff members when they move between classes or activities within the school premises.
- Our staff is hands-on and ever willing to assist our students if and when required.
The following are some additional measures taken by us at Mars1 towards safety, security and hygiene:
- CCTV: An extensive CCTV system has been set up in the Mars1 campus and all the classrooms. They monitor the school premises around the clock.
- Fire Drill and Evacuation Procedure: At Mars1, we have procedures for emergency evacuation and lockdown in place. These procedures are practiced several times in an academic year so that the faculty and staff know exactly what needs to be done in case an emergency situation does arise.
- First-Aid Training: Our faculty and staff at Mars1 are given training once every year in administering first aid. They are also briefed at the start of every academic year about health and safety and the plan for the same is reviewed regularly throughout the year.
Precaution Against COVID-19:
- The following is mandatory for everyone entering into the Mars1 premises:
- Temperature and an oxygen saturation check before entering
- Wearing masks at all times
- Sanitising of hands before and after entering as well while in the school premises
- Maintaining social and physical distancing

- Hand sanitising stations at all levels of schools (Note: Height of hand-sanitising stations per height of young learners for easy access.)
